The Singing Lady Welcomes You This Weekend
You might be wondering why we have taken a gradual approach to our reopening. Trust me, after being through this 3 times we just knew it would be better to go slow than full speed ahead. The first lockdown we laid every staff member off - it was heartbreaking. The tug and pull of just their lives has been something that we have always been aware of and then most importantly their safety.
Now it's ALL OUR safety we're concerned about the very most.
So what will this weekend be like? We're hopeful to hear the community spirit within the store again and for you to feel welcome and safe. Yes - you might have to wait to get in because we have to limit the number of people in each store which includes staff. Yes - we ask that you sanitize your hands upon entry and you must come dawning your mask. Yes - we will practice social distancing inside and outside of our doors. We are truly looking forward to this long awaited weekend and we only hope that it gets better and better from this point forward. I have to choose the road of optimism.
Here are our weekend hours Saturday - 11am to 4pm Sunday - 12pm to 4pm
During the coming week - we will still be making appointments between 12pm and 4pm (while doors are locked) if you wish to see something up close. We're going to wait another week before we decide to be open every single day again. So stay tuned to our website homepage for updates.
Lots of superbly colourful and wonderful new arrivals - we all need some colour just about now right? A really great variety of books too because they've been selling like little hotcakes!

Every day, we get new arrivals — fabulous finds you won't find anywhere else. Here is a small sampling of the new arrivals from the last week but there are many more in the store. We currently have over 6,000 items and it keeps changing all the time. Our motto is, "If you snooze, you lose!". If you see something you like, you had better snatch it up quick because there is a good chance it won't be there the next time you visit.
