The finality of this Singing Lady Newsletter comes with lots of good news but then it also comes with our last words to you because as of Monday, December 18th at 4pm - we will permanently close our doors.
So let's start with the good news shall we?
50% off ALL Cash and Carry Items
As of today - everything in our clearance section will be half price. So our New Arrivals photo spread today shows you lots of items that are now 50% off. So look at the price and calculate the deal - if the website says it's $400 - it's now $200.
There's still a really great variety of items left that are not on our website. So please visit - please give something a home (less for us to pack up!) and bring your loose change and some bills.
This cash and carry sale will continue right up to the last moment on Monday.
Last Chance Deals
The final pieces sitting on our store floor that are consigned have been deeply discounted at incredible prices. Our consignors have let us lower their prices drastically to inspire these to go.
Our Feature photo spread shows you 12 amazing deals. They are ALL worthy of being loved again.
Also, there are still many consigned items on the floor that are 50% of their current price.
If you purchase a larger item - be it cash & carry or a consigned item - please note that it MUST ... and I say that most emphatically - it must be picked up by Monday, December 18th. There are no exceptions. We can absolutely refer our mover to you. At these prices - trust me - it's worth it to alleviate the hassle of doing this yourself!
LARGE Gratitude Time
As many of you know - when my husband Stef passed away - it was a completely devastating time. I was left standing on one very shaky foot.
Because of the complete kindness and generosity of people I didn't even know, blindly taking my hand, not knowing what may lie ahead - I honestly don't know how we would have made it to the finish line.
To Mitch and the Plexxtech Team - you took the biggest blind leap of all. Learning everything one technical issue at a time. Solving so many mysteries that Stef left as puzzles with missing pieces. You kept us strong, viable and present especially where our website was concerned. You gave only the best advice but more importantly, the most honest advice. I will be forever thankful.
To Bruno at Systems Interactive / SuccessByEmail.com - you brought our newsletter back to life after months of not being able to send it. Your patience to work through it, figure out the glitches and then collaborate with me weekly to send it has just been amazing. I will be forever grateful.
To Paolo at Matheson & Associates - you took a heaping pile of an accounting mess and worked through it with me page by page. Tax form by tax form. Subsidy by subsidy. I was completely lost. You inspired me to learn and to be more organized but more importantly to keep my affairs in tip top shape and order. I will be thanking you for a while to come and I'm so happy about that.
To Pronto 360 - you have been our movers and groovers for the entire time we have been operating. I cannot even tell you how many times I have felt blessed to have such kind and dedicated gentleman in our store picking up and delivering your purchases over the years. To Vince and Renato - all of us are thanking you!
To Carol-Anne - Our Store Manager - you are one of those people in life that are irreplaceable. They do exist - these special people who have your back no matter what. Carol-Anne has had mine from the moment she walked into the Singing Lady on Burnhamthorpe Road. I love you my dear friend and may this just continue on in another beautiful way.
To All the Singing Lady Staff Over the Years - you each brought a gift to the store with your knowledge, humour, dedication and willingness to do anything thrown in your direction. I have cherished getting to know you, laughing with you and working with you. You taught me many things and you always stood beside me. You are and were the official ambassadors of our store. It's truly been a privilege.
To Our Consignors - Sooooo many of you - so many amazing things you brought - so many smiles you gave, so much support through the good times and the not so good times. You have been the reason we have had such a successful run and I will miss all of you as much as you express that you will miss us.
To Our Customers - Without your dedication, your joy, your kindness and your thousands of purchases over the years we would have never made it. I have always understood the meaning of running a small business and it's been a true pleasure to have met you, talked with you, been excited with you and shared with you my joy and my sorrow. Your support has meant everything. My heart is overwhelmed.
As difficult as this coming Monday will be - and trust me, it won't be easy - I can only hope that Stef has been looking down and supporting all the decisions I've had to make since the moment he gained his wings. I never considered myself a business woman until I was thrown into it. I was always the Singing Lady "brand" not the backend. I wanted to do this right for both of us - it needed to be as close to perfect as it possibly could. I know you would have not settled for less.
So with all these thoughts - and I could say so much more - and thank so many more people ... we will just leave you with this.
ALL of us here at The Singing Lady are wishing ALL of you the most beautiful Christmas ever. The New Year will bring a whole new set of adventures for all of us - let's hope that it's a grand ride as we roll into 2024.
The Singing Lady bids you a very fond farewell - it is so hard to leave - until you leave.
June 3, 2010 to December 18th, 2023.
A grand ride this surely has been!
