The Singing Lady stores are humming with activity. It's so refreshing to see so many of you making your way to us and continuously supporting us.
Things are moving very fast now - sold signs are going up quickly so if you're watching something don't delay! We really feel it when you're disappointed that you've lost out on an item that you've had your sights set on.
We're focusing on new arrivals today and there are lots of gems here.
We're also thinking about Remembrance Day. One of our new arrivals shown here is so very appropriate. We have 1945 editions of the magazine entitled Yank, the Army Weekly. It was published by the United States Military during World War II. The first issue was published in June of 1942 and the last issue was published on December 28th of 1945. Yank's circulation exceeded 2.5 million in 41 countries with 21 editions.
On Friday, our Staff will have a minute of silence at 11am to honour and remember civilians and military personnel who lost their lives in armed conflicts. We owe them so very much.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
One last thing ... we need bubble wrap! So if you have any kicking around - we could really use it! Just drop it by during store hours and we'll be happy to take it off your hands.
Happy Newsletter Thursday!
Tammie & The Singing Lady Team
Every day, we get new arrivals — fabulous finds you won't find anywhere else. Here is a small sampling of the new arrivals from the last week but there are many more in the store. We currently have over 6,000 items and it keeps changing all the time. Our motto is, "If you snooze, you lose!". If you see something you like, you had better snatch it up quick because there is a good chance it won't be there the next time you visit.
